National Medal

The National Medal recognises 15 years diligent service in organisations that protect life and property at some risk to their members including service with Australian Police Forces, Fire and Ambulance services, Australian Defence services, Australian Protective services, Australian Correctional services and Australian Emergency services. A clasp to the National Medal may be awarded after a further period of 10 years continuous service. (National Medal in wikipedia)
