Albert Medal

An Indigenous man known as 'Neighbour' won an Albert Medal for saving the life of a Mounted Constable while being transported as a prisoner at the flooded Wilton River. His charges were not proceeded with and he was awarded the medal. He later was to serve as a Tracker.
